A dashboard for waste-management and skip-hire firms that broker waste — book the job, track the buy-sell margin on every load, and keep the duty-of-care paperwork straight. WasteIQ turns the regulatory side (transfer notes, carrier permits, landfill-tax bands) from a shoebox of paper into a register that surfaces the gaps before the Environment Agency does.
£20 per seat / month, excluding VAT, billed in arrears · plus a one-off onboarding fee (quoted for your setup — get in touch for a figure) · monthly rolling, cancel for the end of any month · drops to £16.67/seat/month automatically after 12 consecutive paid months, no prepayment · how pricing works
◆ No scoping call needed — pay by card or PO once you're signed off, and we'll grant access as soon as that clears. Want to see it running first? book a walkthrough instead.
Works with what you already have: Jobs, suppliers and permits from CSV; the transfer-note register exports for audit; weighbridge and accounts data by export. Submits directly to DEFRA's Digital Waste Tracking Service — the API replacing the paper Waste Transfer Note as the legal record for licensed sites from 1 October 2026 — once you've registered your own DEFRA API credentials.
Where your data lives: On your own device by default — nothing is sent to us until you're ready. Hosted team mode, set up for you as part of onboarding, gives your whole team one shared, live jobs/audits/suppliers dataset with roles and a tamper-evident, append-only audit trail built for Environmental Protection Act 1990 s.34 duty-of-care record-keeping — held in a UK database (Supabase, London, eu-west-2), separated from other customers by row-level security. Security & trust →

Buy price, sell price and the margin between them tracked per job — so you can see which streams, customers and containers actually make money.
Score a client’s waste against the hierarchy and a landfill-tax & CO₂e baseline, then show the diversion and cost saving from doing it better.
Every movement carries a waste transfer note (or consignment note for hazardous), held in a register that flags any job moving without one.
Carrier registration, supplier permits and expiring documents tracked against Environmental Protection Act 1990 s.34 duty-of-care — the lapses show up before an audit finds them.
Every DEFRA-mandatory field captured on the job form and submitted straight to the Digital Waste Tracking Service — the API-based record replacing the paper Waste Transfer Note for licensed sites from 1 October 2026. Built and verified against DEFRA's own sandbox, and WasteIQ is on GOV.UK's published list of software providers connected to the Receipt of Waste service. Each site still needs its own DEFRA API code to submit.
Hosted team mode — set up for you as part of onboarding — puts jobs, audits and suppliers on one live dataset your whole team signs into, with roles and a server-side, append-only audit trail no one can edit or delete after the fact.
Transfer stations, MRFs and hauliers held with their permit numbers and expiry dates, so an expired or missing permit shows up before you book the load, not after.
Quote → booked → completed → invoiced → paid in one pipeline, with tonnage, destination and recycling rate rolled up for the board.
Skip-hire operators, waste brokers and recycling firms live between two pressures — the margin on each load and the regulator’s duty-of-care paperwork. WasteIQ keeps both in one place, so the commercial picture and the compliance position move together instead of living in a spreadsheet and a filing cabinet.

A complete WTN and consignment-note register, with carrier and permit expiry surfaced — a complete duty-of-care trail under the Environmental Protection Act 1990.
Turn a recycling audit into a sales tool — show a client the landfill-tax and CO₂e they’d save by moving waste up the hierarchy.
Built around your streams, containers and disposal sites — same engine and brand as the rest of the family.
Mandatory for licensed sites in England & Wales that receive waste (Scotland and Northern Ireland follow from January 2027). Every load received has to be logged with DEFRA's Digital Waste Tracking Service, replacing the paper Waste Transfer Note as the legal record. This is the deadline WasteIQ's DWTS integration targets.
The mandate then extends to everyone else who moves waste without receiving it at a licensed site — carriers, brokers, dealers and exempt sites. If that's your operation, you have longer before reporting becomes mandatory, but it isn't an exemption — the same DWTS record-keeping applies to you from this date.
WasteIQ structures your records against UK waste duty-of-care requirements (Environmental Protection Act 1990, the Waste (England & Wales) Regulations 2011 and Landfill Tax bands) — it is a management and reporting tool, not legal advice or a substitute for your own carrier registration and statutory obligations. Confirm your duties with your regulator. Full standards breakdown →
